Remember this post from 2 years ago? I still sleep with my blanky every night and take it on vacations but it never leaves my bed. Many of my friends at school still have their blankies so I've never really thought twice about it. Well, a lot of you let me know in the comments that I am not alone! So, I figured that since many of you have admitted that you still hold onto your blanky/lovey/stuffed object, that I should let you know this fun fact that I stumbled upon on Wikipedia....
It says, "It was revealed that people who sleep with comfort blankets are in fact more independent than those who do not. The theory is that children who use a comfort blanket are more likely to detach themselves from their parents because of the increase in security which the blanket provides."So, my blanky may be around for years to come!
