Edenilson is said to not know how to swim and may have slipped and fallen into the pool at a party hosted by Demi's assistant.
Demi Moore was said to have been out of town at the time of the incidence while her daughter, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah were in New York during the weekend.
However, Demi's neighbours say Demi's daughters have been throwing parties at the house in recent weeks and Tallulah shared photos of late night pool parties.
Demi in a statement through her publicist has described the death as 'unthinkable tragedy'.
Investigations are ongoing but no foul play is suspected.
