At the 54th Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony held at COEX, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on May 3, tvN 'Secret Forest' won the TV category and '1987' won the movie category. "Secret Forest," which was a TV subject, depicted a story of a lone prosecutor, Hwang Si-mok (Jo Seung-woo), who did not feel emotion as a work that was broadcast last year, and a prosecutor's sponsor murder case and the truth behind it, along with a just and warm detective, Han Yeo-jin (Baduna). '1987', a film film, is a story about the heartbreaking story of people who were courageous to reveal the truth when a twenty-two-year-old college student died during a police investigation in January 1987 and the truth of the incident was concealed. TVN 'Mother', a well-made drama about motherhood, won the TV category award. Namhansanseong won the film category award. The best acting award in the TV category was given by Jo Seung-woo and 'Misty' Kim Nam-ju. The honors for the best acting award in the film category were won by Kim Yoon-seok and Na Moon-hee, who were both "I Can Speak" in 1987. Meanwhile, the Baeksang Arts Awards, which was established in 1964 for the revival of stage art and visual arts, were the only comprehensive arts awards in Korea (play, film, TV, etc.) and started in 1965, but since 2002, they have been awarded only for movies and TV except for theater.
